We should be allowed to do the following:
-Delete own posts
-Delete own threads
-Change name (to prevent people from abusing this, you should have to wait a month or so before changing again)
-Delete account

Go through the forum archives, look for posts by a former member by the name of Gold, and then tell me if you still think this is a good idea.

KoEs used to be able to do this. It was lost after a forum rehash, you aren't the first to campaign for its reinstatement so I doubt that this is going to change.

First one could be doable.
Second one would give one power over other people's posts.
Third and fourth: ask administrators. In a decent way. Demanding things and ending with 'kthx' doesn't work with me, I don't respond to such things.

I definitely agree that we should be able to delete our own posts, because double posting = lame!
It is good to know that we can ask if we need a name change though! I don't mind asking nicely (although I like my name).

I wouldn't necessarily agree to letting people change their names at will just because it would get confusing. Unless people don't abuse it by changing their name every other post.
Now that I think about it, I actually would like to be able to change my nick whenever I want, because all I would do is

Examples:
Harris the Suspiciously Epic
Harris the Irresistably Epic
Harris the Undeniably Epic
Harris the Insanely Epic
Harris the Seriously Epic
Harris the Unbarably Epic
Harris the Irresponsibly Epic
You get the idea.

What about a topic search by thread title, instead of individual posts? It gets annoying when I have to look through pages of text when I have an idea sparked in my mind. I dunno, maybe I'm too random for my own good, but my thoughts aren't always about current threads. If there's a way to do this already, tell me,because I haven't found it.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean. What I do know, is that search function can find thread titles for you. When you type in a keyword (or words), it looks for both titles, and appearance of your keyword(s).

Delete own post between all suggestions would be the only one I would agree (and added already

), mainly when you have a lousy conection and accidentally the message is posted twice (glad that it doesn't happen to me for a long time and last time it happened was in the brazilian forum, so I was able to correct that myself).
And about change own name... some years ago (I don't remember exactly when, maybe 2003 or 2004, someone correct me if I am wrong) you were able to change your own nickname without need to ask an admin. It was kinda annoying, certain users used to change their nicknames almost weekly, so each time I logged on forums I think "huh? Who is this person?"
