Hello All Kamelotians!!

Well the European Tour has come to an end and we are reflecting on all the incredible nights with you all. The finale in Oslo could not have been a better way to cap off 5 weeks of amazing concerts. In the packed SOLD OUT Sentrum Scene in Oslo we were greeted with the loudest fans Oslo has seen in years. One of the highlights of this show was the duet of Roy and his grandfather Kåre (accordion), playing the song "Danse mi vise". The crowd of nearly 2000 were on their feet all night long!

On a somber note, one of our biggest fans from Finland, Marko Makinen, passed away after several months battling cancer. His presence on the KamForum will never be replaced but the lessons we have learned from his bravery will live forever. We wish to send our warmest condolences to Max' family. We would like to thank the bands Firewind and Forever Slave for their awesome shows every night with us. You all were fantastic on and off stage and we wish you the best. Also all our supporters, Pearl, ESP, LAG, Fame, Peavey, Vic Firth, Stagg, Zildjian and more. Greetings from Helsinki! We just arrived from Stockholm and it's a great off for the tour. The Hamburg show was a great high we expect to be back soon. It was great to see lots of fans from around world as well as our webmaster Pako. Only one week left on this tour and it's been our best ever. See you all tomorrow in Helsinki. I hear it's SOLD OUT again, so we will have huge party!

WOW, first show of the European Tour was amazing!! Thanks to all the fans that packed the sold out Carling Academy. We will definately be back soon to London. Amsterdam and Wolverhampton was amazing. Let's start with Wolverhampton, great venue, packed with over 800 screamers. We didn't know what to expect since it was our first gig outside of London in the UK. The reaction was amazing and we are already planning our return to this great venue and city. Last night we played Amsterdam for the first time at the famed Paradiso. It was a sold out night with 1400+ packed from the floor to all three balconies. The Netherlands has become a second home of sorts for us and it was an evening we will never forget. On the song "Forever" I thought Roy was singing but it was you guys, soooo LOUD! Awesome! And the fire was a lot of fun too huh? The tour has been great so far and Firewind and Forever Slave are doing great job every night as support. We have two off days to get ready for Antwerp and more hot nights with all of you!!

Kamelot starts tonight in London their European Tour 2008 with a nearly sold out for the most of the shows. Special guests for this tour are the greek metallers Firewind and the spanish band Forever Slave.

In other news the new fantastic video for the song "Rule the World" is now online at kamelot.com and the band's official MySpace site. The video is getting amazing reviews from the journalists and specialists! Also the double CD reissue "Ghost Opera - The Second Coming" is now in stores with lots of extras, bringing you a new experience into the Kamelot's universe. Hello My Friends!

I want to thank everybody that left a post in connection with my birthday last week or sent me messages and mails. I really really appreciate it! We're working hard these days with tour preparations, finishing up videos and a lot of other stuff. Actually the video for Rule the World was finalized this week... and I have to say I'm extremely happy with it. Release will be before the tour in April. Prepare for the ultimate reality escape ;-)

Wacken Open Air Festival is SOLD OUT! 60,000 tickets sold in record time. Kamelot will be appearing on the main stage along with other great acts like Iron Maiden, Nightwish and more!

Hi Thomas, how are things going? Hi Pako! Going great here, we are rehearsing for the upcoming European Tour, we just got some presale numbers and it's looking great! How is Sean Tibbetts doing, the bassist that was doing an amazing job filling in for Glenn, last we heard he dislocated his knee at the show in London? Sean has fully recovered, he was a real warrior on that tour man. Glenn is still having conflicts with touring, Sean will be on tour with us again and this time he has to lay off the spin moves that leads to dislocating of joints, haha! Funny thing is I thought I broke my foot a few weeks ago on a Ripstik, stay away from those things people.

How are things with the new video "Rule the World"? Well, we received the final version a few days ago and we were all floored by the final outcome. It was great to get back to Belgrade to shoot and hang out with the creative team there. The video will certainly be one if not the best video we have ever done. The graphics and visuals are amazing and it was fun to see my character on the screen this time as a bad guy. Some world premiers will be announced soon. The new release "Ghost Opera - The Second Coming" is due to be in stores at the end of March and early April in the US. Can you tell us something about it? Well, the idea of a reissue was thrown around with adding some bonus songs, etc... We wanted to release a Live CD that we did from Belgrade, Serbia on the first trip to Europe for Ghost Opera. So we thought that if we do a reissue it has be packed with great material and not just bonus songs. We added a new cover, thick new booklet with new photos and graphics. A live video clip from the Belgrade show and 10 live songs on the 2 disc slipcase packaging. Not just another reissue by any standards.

So the tour is coming up, any new songs, surprises? Yes, we are adding new songs and some older songs that fans have been asking for. In the countries where pyros are allowed we are doing full pyro shows and large staging. We are itching to get back out there! In closing tell us a little about the US tour coming up. Well, we just announced a US run with Edguy as special guests. We are sure those nights coming up will be killer. I think a future run in Canada is on the table as well, let's see.
